Despite Diwali, there is peace in the big palace of the village. In fact, a large family of three brothers, their wives and children live in this palace. But there is no unity, peace and contentment in that house. The palace is full of addictions, fights, and hevedaves. The younger daughter-in-law Annapurna, however, is diligent. One day, she stops Lakshmi Devi, who is tired of the palace. She says, ‘Wait, Lakshmi puts the kunku.’ Lakshmi promises to wait till she puts the kunku.
